Transfer Plan - Public Health

Southwestern College Course Plan

Students at Southwestern College (SWC) should work with their counselors to plan the below classes, in addition to courses to complete their associate's degree. Completion of the below courses will lead to Cal-GETC certification, completion of UCSD Admissions 7-course pattern for transfer students, and Public Health transfer major preparation courses.

Importance of Cal-GETC: Students must complete all Cal-GETC requirements to be on track with the course plan once entering UCSD. Without complete Cal-GETC, additional lower-division general education courses will be required after transferring.

UC San Diego Course Plan

These UCSD courses will be taken after admission into UCSD. The plan assumes the student has completed all SWC coursework above in the Transfer Plan. This is a template plan and is not the exact schedule that will be offered. The order in which students will take courses may vary. An academic advisor for UCSD students in the Chula Vista program will be available to support planning and enrollment.
